New Chair's Message

Thank-you to our entire executive who supported me during the nomination process for our chapter.
Hopefully I will not disappoint everyone. The chairs position has its own set of challenges and rewards.

As our people may or may not know, the Grand Valley Chapter is one of the largest chapters within the OACETT organization. I am hoping to not only continue the events of the past but build on our success and take the chapter where we need to go. One of the biggest issues our chapter and OACETT as an organization will have to deal with is the lifting of the industrial exemption. The LEL & LET designation is key to our future, and I personally plan to keep a firm thumb on the pulse for this issue and keep our chapter informed.

Our chapter depends on volunteers and we welcome any and all of our members who would like to contribute in some way or another. If you are unsure how you could help, please do not hesitate to ask.
